Virus Protection

F-Secure Anti-Virus for Workstations includes multiple scanning engines that work in real time. The integrated engines ensure maximum detection rates of viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware or related malware. Automatic signature updates enable the user to ensure the computer's protection is always up-to-date against the latest treats.

Integrated Antispyware

Spyware is an increasing nuisance to ordinary computer users. As software that gets installed on a computer typically without the users' knowledge e.g. through Web browsing, it slows own the functioning of a computer as in the worst instances can even be used for identity theft. Fortunately, F-Secure's two-engine solution in spyware detection ensures the most efficient spyware detection and removal.

Rootkit Elimination - F-Secure Backlight

A Rootkit is often used to hide malicious software like viruses, spyware, adware, backdoors, Trojans and worms. F-Secure Backlight technology detects and removes hidden suspicious items lurking within a computer. Rootkit scans can be configured with F-Secure Policy Manager with high flexibility: for example, the entire company network can be scanned during off peak periods without affecting network usage.

Combined virus, spyware and risk ware quarantine

F-Secure Anti-Virus for Workstations' quarantine feature has been extended to include the quarantine of viruses and risk ware. In addition, the overall look-and-feel of the quarantine feature has been adjusted to provide clearer instructions on its use and purpose.

Easy-to-use Graphical User Interface

F-Secure Anti-Virus for Workstations' GUI is good looking and easy to use. With it, the user can quickly find the information he/she seeks while the settings are made via an intuitive menu structure. The main user interface has been optimized for faster performance and fade effects have been used for several user interface elements. The new GUI supports approximately 20 different languages.
